GAH!!!

I am installing new shocks, and and front ones went in nice and dandy. The back ones on the other hand, I cant get the new shock mount inside the top circle of the shock!!! (I know the top bolts break)

Pb blaster. Sprayed mine for a week before and didnt break a single bolt.
Are you talking about the bushing?

TrevorNelson 06-22-2010 01:39 PM

No....The part that you put through the shock.

When you but new shocks you get the shock and the little silver thing. You have to shove that little thing threw the Hole in the NEW shock. And you use the little silver thing to mount the top of the rear shocks.

No i thought you were referring to you breaking the shock bolts. Spray a little silicone in the bushing and push it through. Its a tight fit but it will go through.

yep lube and squeeze... i got it by "sawing" movment.... the bushing on mine had paint in it so i removed the paint first....
