Default Fuse/relay question.

I don't have an owners manual, and I couldn't find a source in the Haynes manual.

Which fuse, if any is for the rear defrost?

Also... My AW Part-time, dash light isn't coming on... Guessing there's a fuse or relay for that as well. Suggestions?

98 XJ.

Okay... I think it's my rear defrost relay. Cant be a blown fuse because my blinkers still work.

Do I have to take the entire side panel off to change this? Doesn't look like I can fully get to the junction box.

I'm not sure those ever work, lol. There is a switch screwed into the transfer case that triggers the light. Pull the plug off the switch and jumper it. If the light comes on, the switch is bad. If it still doesn't come on you get to dismantle part of the dash to reach the bulb. (It's almost always the switch, or a dirty/disconnected connector@ the switch)
