Fuse block has no power, No Blinkers, Wipers, Tail lights, stereo...
Hi I just bought a Comanche that I have been looking for a long time because I wanted to make sure it was the right one. last it was registered was 6 years ago but runs great and was started every couple of months really has been taking care of, although the fuses look fine none of the things are getting power, no wipers, blinkers, tail lights and almost everything that has a fuse for it in the block , the fuses are fine its just like not getting power to all of them. I did see a red wire that was added to the fuse block that was cut and led no where, maybe used for lights or something. Please any kind of help would be much appreciated
Thank You

X2. Had an 87 k20 that a lot of the emissions controls weren't getting any power and a friend had an 01 3500 that the radio, wipers, blower and a bunch of other stuff stop working and both were because of bad grounds.

Hey Guys Thank You for the feed back more appreciated than you can imagine, so I ended up switching the metal fuse circuit breaker that is at the bottom of the the fuse block and some how my interior lights and tail lights started working. everything else still doesn't work like reverse lights wipers blinkers stereo and so on. Tomorrow I will switch my terminals and clean out the other grounds(any specific locations for grounds). As well as dig into my ignition switch to see if anything is burnt or what not.
Thanks Again

Heres a link that shows fuses and what they feed...That breaker shoul power wiper. Checking fuses for current in and out would be my next step buy what your describing switch/plug main suspect here....http://comancheclub.com/topic/15986-...ictures/page-5

Fusable link at a silver(?) fuse box next to the ignition coil. It's a wire that melts in a surge like a fuse breaks in one. They are orang and green wires and they are pretty short. Happens to me not to long ago. And disconnect batter first so you don't create a welding tool with the connections by accident.

hey guys,
sorry about not posting a response right away, but I got distracted with my brakes not working (pedal would sink to floor) got a new master cylinder and booster bled it multiple times with my neighborhood mechanics help which fixed the sinking but very spongy with a huge delay, any suggestions would be helpful.
My other huge distraction is the car wont go passed 25 unless you high rev it will than switch gears, after reading a bunch I thought it was a Transmission Control Module every time I unplug it I think it goes to a lower gear(if you unplug while your going 25 it will switch gears perfectly). I ordered the same tcm on ebay as its the only one I could find.
Long Story Short the electrical is definitely the Ignition Starter Switch because when I unplugged it you can see the connecter piece corroded or even burned a little I connected the wires to the new switch I got and the blinkers wiper blower... started working except the car wouldn't start, figured the switch has to be grounded or something but now I'm having a hard time getting it out.. do i have to lower the column or anyone know how?
whew, that was a lot thank you for all your help!!!
