fuel sending unit rubber foot fell in!

Hey all,
was pulling the fuel sending unit and the rubber foot fell in. I'm not too excited about dropping the tank and am not able to reach the foot with my hands or tools. What are the odds that I could run this mall crawler without the rubber foot without problems?
