Hi,
I had to replace my fuel rail on my 2000 Jeep Cherokee Classic as it was cracked and leaking...
The fuel rail has a fuel damper in the middle of the rail, but i replaced it with one that doesn't have a fuel damper...
The stealership wanted 250$ but found one one ebay for 50$, it says it fits a 2000 jeep cherokee...
Does it matter if the fuel rail has a fuel damper or not?
Thank you
Mickey

Probably won't notice a difference. The damper is supposed to keep pressure within 1 PSI of 49, whereas engines without the damper expect +/- 5 PSI. CCKen's measured his 1999 that has a damper on the rail (Chrysler likes to do random things) and observed +/- 5 PSI anyway...
