Fuel quick disconnect
 
My halfwit mate snapped a quick disconnect fitting on my fuel rail is it possiable to just hose clamp it on the rail? I can’t for the life of me find a replacement

Yes. I had a pin hole leak in my metal fueline after replacing the head. I cut out the bad section and hose clamped a fuel hose in its place. There’s a write up on this site for replacing the entire metal line with hose. They used new dorman fittings and clamps. No reason you can’t use just hose clamps. I used two clamps per connection. They make a hose clamp for fuel that is supposed to be more secure than standard hose clamp. Ensure it doesn’t leak and I’d return it to factory when you can.

All the auto stores should have the dorman clips in stock if you want to do it right.

I do but here in Nz they’re a bit harder to find
