Fuel pumps suck
So I got a 20 gallon tank to replace my 13 gallon tank and my bad pump. I got a new pump from the parts house I got the precision something or other pump. I went to install it and it didn't fit against the sealing surface flush. I had to bend the sealing surface plate on the sending unit upward a lil bit and then push it into place with the seal ring. The pump sits in in the lil bracket in the tank fine. just the part that seals wasn't in the right location. I got that all squared away I hope it works. Also do you know if the skid plate for the smaller tank will fit the 20 I measured the skid plate and the tank is the same width and length it should work it bolts to the frame not the tank.

If you'd take some time to throw some punctuation in there we might be able to figure out what you're saying.

The gold area wasn't parallel to the tank mating surface when first installed. I had to bend the feed and return lines yawed to get them parallel and then push it in with some force to be able to install the lock ring. Is that normal
