fuel pump wiring short
I have a 87 xj with 2.5 tbi i have 7 volts to the pump with key can disconnect all wiring plugs take out the two engine compartment relays replaced ecu coil cps tps just about cleaned all the grounds i could find so has 7 volts no matter what if i pull the gauge fuse than volts go to zero has no ground continuity anybody have clue

I don't know. You'll have to hope someone else chimes in, you look it up in a service manual, or you measure yours.
