Fuel pump runs when headlamps on renix gods
My buddy just bought a 88 cherokee limited 2 door and it's been "modified " the abs has an issue that causes it to work wrong and the PO wired in a switch to activate it. I told him to remove the abs entirely. But his dash lights are inop like mine were. I checked all his stuff like I did in mine and all was ok but I wasn't getting power to the fuse for the gauge lights. While checking this we turned on the head lights with the jeep off and the fuel pump turned on with the lights. Any ideas on what is causing this. I presume a short of some kind some where but that seems to be an odd short.

Yeah I know it was worth a try. I was hoping it was a factory issue not another thing this " mechanic" put together.
