Fuel pump replaced, at full gauge reads 3/4
A few years ago my fuel pump went when i was out of town. Since then a full tank only reads 3/4 on the guage.
I'm replacing the tank and was ondering of anyone had seen this before and has a fix. I assumed its either the float is bent, pump not at vertical(if possible) or the pump was for a non-20 gallon model.

Engine: 4.0L with throttle body spacer and cold air intake, bored throttle body, #784 injector upgrade
if you put a pump that isn't for a 20 gallon tank into a 20 gallon tank then your going to get weird readings. I am guessing that your fuel gauge reading that way is from it being for the wrong tank.
