and back to the saga of the non-energizing fuel pump....91 cherokee...4.0...4wd...auto tranny......so i read this post of this guy who had the same problem as me so I decided to go out to the garage and place a heat lamp right over the ecm....covered it and went inside for a cup. When I went back out 15 min. later I turned the key and the thing started.....ecm???? I took the ecm off and cleaned all the contacts...resanded the body and ground wires....reconnected (its cold by now) nothing....anyone else gettin this problem? any way Im gonna get a new ecm. will keep everyone posted.....oh yea..the problem has been,when its cold out the fuel pump wont energize...in the summer it will....replaced the relays...fuses...pump....pressure reg.etc.
