auto 4x4 trans to 5spd non 4x4...

Engine: AMC 242 High Output I6
auto 4x4 trans to 5spd non 4x4...
theirs a guy around my town parting out a 1996 jeep that matches my 1995. i want his 5spd trans, clutch assemblies and such cause i hate auto's.
anyways i could get the trans and clutch assembly for $200, but the 5speed is out of a non 4x4. so i was wondering. could i still use my transfer case and bolt it to a non 4x4 5speed. or would i have to keep looking for a 4x4 5speed trans to bolt to my transfer case?
also besides swapping trans and rebolting the transfer case. adding the whole clutch assembly and getting a tachometer what else do i need to do to get the 5spd running?
