Fuel problem or sensor or???
Fuel, sensor, or something totally different? I have an 87' with a 4.0, auto trans that I am trying to build as a off roader/occasional driver. I had a shop full or hot rods I was building so I had a friend of mine that was slow swaped the engine out for me. The problem is it takes a lot of pumping/pedaling the gas pedal to start the rig, then you cant give it much gas at all or it will die. If you let it run a while it does a lot better but still not very good throttle response. It has been sitting for a few years and the injectors were leaking so i replaced the o rings, and cleaned the injectors up and put them back in. Im not sure if it did it before because the injectors were leaking so bad I couldnt run it long. Im not very knowledgable at all on injected vehicles. Any help would be great!!!

I would look at your fuel pressure, there's a nozzle right on the same rail as the injectors are connected to of you have a guage test it I don't know the exact pressure it should be. And another thing, if its been sitting a while good chance you need to replace fuel pump and filter. Hope this helps
