Fuel Problem?
Okay, The other day my Jeep just stalled while waiting to pull out on the road. Ever since then it acts funny. Sometimes it will miss and low rpms, Once you gas on it, it goes away but seems to lack power like it had. Also pulling out and giving it Full throttle it will just shut down like it ran out of gas until you let off for a sec then it picks back up.
The exhaust is smelling oddly also. Maybe its my Cat stopping up? What should I look for guys?

Smell like rotten eggs? Check engine lite on? Real sluggish and running hotter that usuall? Yep, your cat is plugged. But why did it plug up? You'll have to figure that out before you puke the new cat after a short time.

Nah not really a typical cat smell just fuel. Also UPDATE by the way. It will shut off going into hard left curves only. Straight and right hand is fine just when cuttin a left curve and gassing on it will shut it down until you let back off the gas and straighten up. I dont get it.

thats fuel pump. cutting out on left turns gave it away. either the pump is cutting out or something is getting sucked into the filter on hard lefts cutting off fuel causing it to stall.

Crapola! Its always something huh. The wifes car throwed a rod a couple weeks ago, I still have the 3 quads to get back ready. Now this. Ahh I say its time to head out the road to the Salvage Yard and snag me one. I would just put a new one but I dont have 120.00 to throw down for one.

try Mr. fuel filter first, might be a waste though........Not to be stupid but mine does the same thing when I have less than a 1/8 of a tank.

Mine is just over 1/8 right now I would say. It never done this ever before even if the tank was near dry. It died on me yesterday and has done it since then. I think it is the pump. I guess I half to drop the tank to change it huh? I will head to the Junk yard and try another one and see if that is the problem.
