Fuel Pressure
Hard starts in the morning, but once warm seems to start regular. Question in measuring the pressure with a gauge today it came in at 35 psi. Removed the vacuum connection pressure went up about 10 psi. Kept gauge on for two hours came back at 10 psi. Should the pressure maintain fat 35 psi? If so, should I check the fuel injector grommets and or replace the fuel filter. What else should I be looking for?

There is a check valve at the pump that can let the pressure bleed off. Otherwise the injectors themselves and the o-rings at the injectors. I don't know about your year, but if there is a fuel return type fuel pressure regulator that can leak into the vacuum, or it can leak through the return.
I hope that isn't too vague. I have a lot more experience outside of Jeep than in, so I'm not totally sure what systems Jeep uses in the different generations.
