fuel line quick connector failure
 

As luck would have it one of the two ears on the steel line side of the quick connector (at the tank) broke off... I don't suppose it is possible to obtain just the gray plastic piece that stays on the steel line once disconnected ??? Or is it one of those "Ya have to buy the entire connector" to obtain this part ??? Thanks much for the help...

Found the answer... Dorman 800-005 is the clip needed... real inexpensive too...

Dealer will have it in stock its just more expensive.
