Fuel Gauge Problem

Fuel Gauge Problem
My tacho and speedometer sometimes don't work and requires a gentle hit on the dashboard to get it working. Unfortunately, today I may have hit it too hard and my fuel gauge is not working. It moves from empty right past full and stops there. Any idea?
