ZJ and WJ seats swap right onto your stock seat rails.
If you go with power seats, you will need to wire them up to work in your XJ (basically just power and ground, the seat has its own switches and electronics). Or just take the lazy route like me, and use a drill battery to move the seats into the desired position and then bolt them in. I don't recline my seat or anything, and the seat rails are manual so they still go back and forth.
manual seats are a direct swap-in. Check Craigslist in your area, I scored some good condition WJ seats for $80 roughly
So much better than my cracked stock seat...

Do you know if any of those ZJ/WJ seats lay back all the way ? My 90's only lay back 6" or so, I hate that besides the 3 or 4 times I repaired it.
