Question Front Mount Reciever Hitch

Hey does any body have pics of a front mount reciever hitch on their XJ, saw one online for $80...Gotta see what It ill look like before I try and get it! Then I can get a winch to mount in it!!!

i have one mounted on the front of mine sorry i don't have any pics but its from www.etrailer.com
and if your wondering about the mounts it uses the swaybar brackets and a third bolt that you have to drill into the framerails to attatch
its pretty sturdy tho i have been pulled out with it/used it to pull out others and its held up just fine

I have a front mount on my 72' Chev. I love it. I plan on putting one on the XJ when I get all the other stuff handled first.

that hangs down really far, now image a winch sticking out 1foot infront of that. Totally killing you approach angle,.

I like the one in that link someone posted where it is located completely behind the front bumper.

this is mine. the reciever is built into the bumper... its not the best pic but it work really well and the bumper has not came loose from the unibody yet..

hey sorry i've been working all day....so far i haven't done anything with the front hitch put my plans are to wire it front and back and have the winch on a receiver to use in the rear too.. now that work is picking up a little bit i can start doing the things i'd like to do, but for now i get along with a good quality come along and i hook right up to my sway bar that i have disconnected lol

Here are some pics of my "ex-j". It has a Reece receiver (adjustable width). It sits high and the brackets go back enough to somewhat reinforce the unibody by the power steering box. I loved that setup.

Hey thanks for all the pics and advise! I bought mine on ebay, made by Curt...got it yesterday! Called a buddy of mine, got some beer and got it put on this evening!!! I'll post some pics tomorrow.
