front end clunk
when i have the wheels all the way to the side, making a tight turn, there is a clunk, well, its kinda like a grinding clunk. thought maybe i have a worn u-joint on the front axle that is binding a little, or is it in the steering linkage? i had a '92 a few years ago with the same problem, so i am assuming others do too.

Could be a number of things:
trackbar joints, tie rod, u-joints, control arm bushings, sway bar bushings (link and main bar bushings). Have someone turn the wheel like you described while you sit under there with some popcorn and check out all the joints.

ok, i am swapping out my front springs and i noticed my sway bar bushings are shot, so i will replace those while i am under their. of course when i tried to disconnect the sway bar from the link, it twisted off, so i might as well put in some quick disconnects. not the first time that happened.
