Front driveline problems?
What's up fellas
As I'm preparing for this hurricane I decided to throw in my front drive shaft to use 4wd just in case if I have to climb over trees and stuff
And all of a sudden I'm getting kind of like a growling/crunching noise in high speeds(35-70) mph
Now this is a front driveshaft from an xj but my Jeep never has made this noise before until I installed this driveshaft....
My previous one was too short for my new lift
It's more of a constant rotational but doesn't go away with speed only after going down to 30mph when the noise goes away...
I've checked if it's hitting anything with no signs of scrapping
Anyone knows what it could be?

Check your front diff fluid. I'm guessing you have grunge or damage in there. Drop the cover, inspect, and proceed from there.
Wouldn't hurt to check your front U-joints.
Stay safe!

What, you don't like laying on the pavement under your Jeep while there's a foot and a half of floodwaters sharing your space?
