front axle ratio
i read somewhere that all cherokees 97-01 with the 4.0l and aw4 tranny and no tow package had 3.55 gearing is this true cause i want to grab a front axle but dont want to get the wrong gears

ok just checking and my tag is gone but just called and the junkyard only wants $25 for the axle and since i want spare parts an extra $30 for control arms

Do you mean they want $25 for the entire differential or just one of the axles,because $30 is about normal for the ca's but $25 is what I would exspect to pay for an axle,in that case ratio does not matter.
