1988 Cherokee Door Locks
Hello,
Just purchased my first jeep in March, it's finally been nice enough that I can work on her. So my first project is going to be getting the door locks to work so I can get started on other things. The primary issues are they don't work(power) or get stuck(both power and manual), the driver side door gets stuck, passenger wont lock at all, and I gave up at that point but I know the manual/power don't work for the back doors and the trunk just doesn't work at all. I'm starting to suspect that the key I got when I purchased the jeep doesn't even match the door locks.(Sidenote: both front windows work, and I think only the passenger rear window works, the driver side rear window moves like 1/4" but wont go down, but that might be for an entirely new post of it's own, my main focus is the door locks)
There isn't much room to work and I'm not sure where I should start. I'm not exactly clueless on mechanical work or electrical work, I just don't want to start ripping things out with no idea what I am doing, haha.
