free 30x9.50 16in.must buy adapters how much lift needed
Friend gave me free brand new set of 30x9.50 16 in. tires and rims on non 4.5 bolt pattern. Now I will have to use adapters,if I do this my wheels are going to be pushed out an inch or so and now on 16 inch rims vs. my stock 15 inch,Can I get by with budget 2 in. lift or will I have to go higher. Can it be done without rubbing or bottoming out, anybody put on 16's ,thanks for any help

What exactly are you asking? The lack of correct grammer make it hard to understand your question. We also need some more information on the vehicle and the rims those tires are on

drhoward he is obviously asking what he needs to get to mount the free wheels and tires on his XJ. He may need wheel spacers to mount them if he has a 2" budget lift. Even I can figure that out.

Why not just have the tires swapped over to your existing wheels. Prolly about the same price as buying adapters or even cheaper. The tires should be ok on stock rims as long as your rear end isn't sagging to much.

You can technically cram 31 inch tires with a 15 inch wheel under a 2 inch lift BUT you have to extend your bumpstops so your tire doesn't bottom out when flexing, and you get like, 0 flexing by doing 31's with a 2 inch lift. But since your wheel is a 16 inch I would get one of these other guys to tell you if it's a larger combo because of it's larger wheel size.

Adapters aren't good.
You can buy a set of used steel wheels cheaper.
I don't remember ever hearing of 30x9.50x 16.
2" lift should work with 30" tires.

If you insist on using adapters, make sure to buy Hubcentric ones. There are Hubcentric and Lugcentric ones. Hubcentric ones are best because they center off of the hub itself instead ov just the lugs.
