Fram Oil Filters
Just thought I would let anyone know who still uses Fram oil filters (not recommended).... I have a '91 Cherokee Limited (4.0L/6S) and recently went to change the oil. For years I have used the standard Fram PH16 oil filter (I know...shame), but this time I decided to try the new "High Mileage" Fram filter (HM16). Get ready to put the new filter on and realize it will not fit!! There is a plastic shelf in the filter about 1/3 of the way in that prevents the filter from even threading on. Do your self a favor, just go with WIX, or in my case, a Napa Gold (P/N 21068).
