Found two rust holes on my frame, what should I do?
Today I went off-roading for the first time (hella fun btw), but before my friends took a look under my car, and found a rust hole in the frame. I’ve owned the jeep for a year and bought it out of state.
Heres an imgur album of the photos i took, after inspection I noticed what i think might be another rust hole on the passenger side. However it looks very uniform so could it possibly be how the frame was from the factory? https://imgur.com/a/N4uXRhQ What I want to know is: is this repairable? if so how much money would I be looking around? Hopefully it is, I really love this jeep and don’t have the money for another one. Please respond ASAP |
Well get under it and start cleaning it to see if how much more rust the frame has . If it is just a few spots you can weld some plates on the bad spots , and then you can also use frame plates they sell .
