found source of leak
 

I found my leak inside redmuck, its coming from the upper left hand corner of the firewall, above the vac line coming thru the firewall. Now does anybody know if this is located behind the fender? Can i get to it with the fender off? pics below too.

Can you see the the vacuum hose under the hood ? because I think it mite be in the cowling under the windshield .

Yes i see it on the firewall, looks like it goes straight thru. ill have to look under the dash again, cause the hose goes downward, instead of being right angled up under the dash to the heater controls. that rust hole might be deep down in the cowl corner, with no access behind the fender. :furious: :furious:

well that so called vac line is actually my washer fluid hose going to the back. i had the fender off just enough to see that i cant get to that leak from there. sooo gotta fix and seal from the inside.

Maybe you can use a spray on under coat to seal it , until you can get in there to fix it the right way .

that's what I'm gonna do, dupli color rust to metal spray then their chassis coating spray, and / or maybe a leak sealer. itll be hard to do just that.
