ford wheels to d35 help!!!
Ok so drove 3 hours to trade gun for wheels and tires. It was good trade but guy told me wrong, said they were for jeep and their not their ford pattern. Any ideas to make them work??? really low on cash for this project. Thank you!

did you physically check to see if they would mount up? what kind of ford did they come off of? if the rims don't line up i'd be willin to bet if you took em to a tire shop and offered them a 12pack they'd dismount the tires for you, then you could possibly sell or trade for rims with the correct bolt pattern.

You deifinatley should have checked to make sure they would fit before complting the trade. I would go back and see if he will take the tires back and return the gun. But be polite, remember, he has a gun.

Yeah ... what kind/year Ford? Some Ranger & Explorer wheels will fit an XJ. I just bought some Ranger wheels for mine.

Haha, that part made me laugh. But that's exactly what I would do. He said they'd fit and they didn't, so you deserve to get your gun back. This time see if he'll drive to you considering he's putting you through all this trouble.

save up a little cash and buy some spacers/adapters. spidertrax sells them at 100 a pair https://www.cherokeeforum.com/newrep...ote=1&p=437121
they dont mention the size of the centers though so I'd call and verify that they will work. I dont see why they wouldnt though. I've ran wheels with centers larger than the hubs, as long as the bolt pattern works. just my .02

well if they are off of an f-150 the bolt pattern is 5 on 5 1/2 I would just spend the money on the spacer and run the rims and tires.

Personally, I'd go the spacers route. If the hubs are bigger, you can always get centering rings. I've run them on one of my Hondas for like 5 years now with no problems.
Or, when you go back, make sure to bring a bigger gun.
