Flex Plate Bolts Loose
My '94 4.0 HO XJ's been making erratic clunking noises lately whenever engine is running. After some local discussion, i removed the flex plate inspection cover and found loose bolts and one that was cocked in its hole. I tightened any loose ones but the cocked one is jammed. Do you thing that loosening all others might allow me to un-jam the cocked one and get it screwed back in correctly. I'm hoping that after doing so, the clunking sound goes away. Thanks.
