Flat style fender flares with stock bumpers and plastics?

Model: Cherokee
Engine: 4.0 straight 6 cylinder
Flat style fender flares with stock bumpers and plastics?
Would the new Bushwacker flat style flares work with the the bumper caps front and rear of a 2000 Cherokee? Would any cutting need to be done or would this just look awkward? The rear is what I'm most interested in keeping the original plastic caps. If anyone has done this could you post pictures?
