EEVEE

So earlier today while coming home from work it was raining and of course every driver in florida suddenly drives stupidly. Anyways there was a moron going 50 mph as was i and right when the street light turned yellow he slammed on his brakes making me slam mine so i somehow managed to avoid him and slid sideways through the light into the median to where i just sat there for a few seconds cursing out the guy. And i noticed while driving into the gas station to check for damage my check gauges light was flashing for like 2 seconds but nothing on my dash looked wrong. Temp was normal, voltage normal, oil pressure normal and all that. So i shut it off and looked around and went to turn it back on and it wasnt flashing anymore and everything seems ok. Nothing looks wrong under it and the hood so why was it flashing? Again nothing looked wrong and or felt wrong my lights were steady no change in brightness.
