Fixing my stock fender flares?
Hi, I'm new but won't bore you w/details other than '01 Sport. So here's the deal...
I know fender flares is a often posted topic, mainly mods it seems, and after searching I can't find anything on how to fix (reinstall) my stock flares. The rear flares on both sides have come off their respective brackets and I just can't see how to get them back on to stay. I can kinda slip them back onto the bracket but they don't hold tight to the body and come loose again w/i a day.
Thanks for any ideas.

if you look inside the fender, there are several nuts that tighten to hold the flares on... the are usually a bit on the rusty side so you want to be careful not to break the bolts but you may be able to tighten them a little to hold the flares a bit better

Thanks for the reply, it seems when I look at the flares, they simply should slip back into place onto their brackets - like "tab A into slot A" deal. I don't see where there would be any screws other than on the bracket. Maybe I need to remove the bracket, get the flare back onto it while off the fender then re-screw down the whole thing?

Done. Slight pain in the tail. Inconvenient to get to, and the plastic tabs on the inside of the flare - wow, cheap, can't believe they've stayed on for this long.

I'm with you. I'll be SHOCKED if the plastic nubs doesn't bust off by the end off summer... I really want some Bushwackers, but am way too pansy to "trim" - wish they had a no cut solution.
