Default Fixing front Bumper

I been wanting to replace my bumper now for over a year with a new off road one. But I just never have the money for it. Basically I hit a truck right in the ball hitch going about 10mph (at a stop light). Left me with a big dent in the middle and pushed my bumper up underneath my grille some.

What would be the best way to fix this dent in the bumper, and make it look as close to regular as possible?? What bolts would I have to remove to take the bumper off also?

Thanks.

There should be six bolts holding the bumper on (on the frame rail), three on each side. You can take it off, lay the front on a block of wood and smack it with a sledge hammer. The bumper is pretty thin metal. You might not get it back to new condition though.

Hit the bone yard. You can get one for around 30 bucks. You are going to have to paint the dented one even if you do manage to get it half way straight, might as well just get a nice straight one.

Yea that's what I thought. I might play around with it. I figured I'd need a new one eventually, I just thought maybe I could fix it a little to where it looks better than it does now.

Thanks guys, ill take a look at it today

Just putting it out there you can get a new stock bumper for around 40 bucks on ebay. I got one at my local JY for 20.

I don't think you'll be able to save your bumper though... As previously mentioned it's pretty thin. I tried to bend a ding out of mine and it just wasn't worth the hassle.

You'll need to take your plastics off too get access to the 3 bolts on each side. I can't remember the exact size but I want to say they are 15mm but don't quote me on that. Your going to want some long extensions. They will make it alot easier.

Appreciate the help guys, I might actually just find me a new one cheap like y'all mentioned. I figured it wasn't worth the hassle.

Still wanting to get an offroad bumper though eventually!
