Ok guys I am new to the wonderfull world of lifting.But what my problom is, is that i am not sure what to pick for the lift.basicly i do a lot of fishing and alot of people down here have lifted trucks and suvs (aka suberbans) what i want is a good set up for on and offrd. i will be doing trails and a lot of beach driving. what set up should i use? i have seen a 4.5 lift with 33s and i like the set up and how it looks. but i am not sure if it is legeal down here do to the 27in law (bumber to grd).If it not to much to ask can you guys give me some pics of difrent lifts and tire combos? and any advise....Thanks (sry for the spelling i am not realy good at it)

As for your lift law, not sure what height stock is and how much the lift you want raises it. A stock XJ with a good set of tires can take you pretty far though.

an xj on 31's can follow a wrangler on 33's anywhere... backwards! thought that fit this thread for some reason..
