First Jeep...need some noob help

Alright just sold my truck (ford ranger, lame i know) and got an awesome deal on a green 95 cherokee sport with 120,000 miles for a thousand bucks...(got it cheap because the original owner just passed and his son didnt wanna look at it, which is sad but i was happy to take it off his hands) anyway the first thing on my list is to put some driving lights on the front bumper. the holes are already there so as far as mounting them it shouldnt be a big issue. The thing is i could probably be considered mentally retarded when it comes to running the wires so if someone wouldnt mind givin me the rundown on the best way to go about wiring them it would be much appreciated...preferably in laymans terms. Also if yall have any other suggestions on how to reasonably cheaply spruce it up a little until i save up for the expensive stuff....thanks

best bet is getting a Haynes Repair manual! its about twenty five bucks give or take where you go to buy it... it should have a wiring diagram section in it and follow the wires from the diagram they should give wire colors and all that jazz
