I am planning to change out the ground tape today. I have read that it goes from the firewall to the cylinderhead. Mine is bolted to the fuel rail; would that be sufficant enough? Or should I move it to a cylinder head bolt? I looked over all the ground wires the other day and they all appear to have already been changed to either 4 or 2 awg; with the exception of the "tape".

 

If it's still in one piece, leave it alone.

There's a nut that threads onto the head bolt to retain it, you do not need to remove the head bolt itself.
