Default Firestone Destination AT 30x9.5R15 Optimal Tire Pressure?

Hi Everyone!

Just finished my 2" zone lift and put my new shoes on. I was searching on the internet but surprisingly could not find this information anywhere.

Could anyone tell me what the optimal tire pressure is for a 30x9.5R15 size tire? Or at least what they run? Some help from others who have ran this size of Firestones would be greatly appreciated too.

Right now I just filled them up to 34 psi cold

Thanks!
George

EDIT: I apologize but I should have but this in the "All lift and tire questions go here" Thread in the Advanced Cherokee Tech. Sorry about that. If a mod could move this that would be awesome.

What ever the sticker on your door reads will be OK. If you really want, optimal, do a CHALK TEST.
Draw a line across the tread with chalk, drive STRAIGHT forward about 50-100 feet. adjust air pressure till chalk line wears off evenly. All 4 tires should be adjusted to within 0-1lb of each other, especialy if you have a 242 transfercase.

I'm running my Firestone Destination AT 235/75-15 (about = to a 29" tire) at 35 PSI. The nimrods at the tire shop filled them up to 47, so if I didn't know any better, in about a year I'd have been in there with the tread worn out of the middle and needing new tires. Not that it matters, but I also have a 2" lift.

Excellent advice.

Also, not sure I've ever agreed with that "all X questions go here" in one thread business. Too hard too through it all, see what's new. also, you have too many people responding to multiple questions, and often it's hard to tell which question they are answering. It's like sitting around a dinner table with a bunch of people trying to keep track of 5 different conversations.

I somehow don't see how that applies to this thread. Am I missing something?

Look at the last line of the OP's original post where he edited it.

Thanks for the much needed help everyone! I am running 34 psi cold right now so I will see how that plays out. I'll also try the chalk test this weekend after I get it aligned.

And about that particular thread, now thinking about it I agree...
