Thanks to everybody,

I have an 87 waggy limited, and I'm having issues with the steering column. The key cylinder is going bad, my wipers are not working, signals work whenever they see fit, so I'm thinking of replacing the whole steering column.
Here in Puerto Rico, JY are just like the stealerships, they want to sell parts almost as expensive as brand new.
So I'm thinking, since that XJ shares many parts with diff brands, is there any column compatible with the XJ???

Also, Ive heard a lot about the bastard packs from an S10. Can somebody tell me more about it???
