Default A Few Cherokee Issues & Engine Codes

I have been having ongoing problems with my 98 Jeep Cherokee (190k miles) over the last two months.

1) IOD fuse keeps blowing - I can't see anything on my cluster and my overhead light won't work because of this. At first it would blow after a little while so I could put a new fuse in to check the gas and such - but now it just immediately blows.

2) Acceleration problem - I will get in my car, drive a little, then it will have an issue where it wont accelerate. I will give it gas, hear a knocking sound, take my foot off the gas - then it will drive fine. If I am idling at a red light during this, my jeep will shake.

3) Codes:
- 443: Evaporative Emissions System Purge Control Valve Circuit
- 138: o2 Circuit high voltage Bank 1, Sensor 2
-700: Transmission control system (MIL request)
-1495: Leak detection pump solenoid current
-705: Transmission sensor circuit

Could any of these codes would have anything to do with the issues I am having? Obviously I know jeeps have their quirks, but I am getting worried as winter draws near. I don't want to have these problems that gets me into an accident - especially the acceleration issue.

I'm wondering where to start here. I brought it into a shop, left it there for a week, and the mechanic still was unable to solve any of the issues. He found a corroded wire and fixed that - also changed the spark plugs. I have been doing a lot of researching on-line and it seems as though these issues are quite common, although there are many reasons they could be happening. I honestly just need an honest opinion if I should continue to put the money into this jeep or bite the bullet and find something new.

Let me know if you have any information or could help me out!

Update: It was cold out this morning and I let it sit for a little while. The acceleration issue didn't happen at all. Any help!?
