Question Fender trimming + flares

I tried searching but couldnt find the right answer. I would like to know how far up I can trim the front fenders, and if I can even cut and fold the rear AND retain my stock flares. I like the look of the flares and would prefer to put them back on (currently off). Has anyone done this and even better, have pictures?

I currently have about 4.5" of lift and run 33s. I only rub the rears when flexing...or hitting a huge dip in the road on a couple of occasions. The fronts haven't caused me much trouble at all mostly because my fenders are jacked up.

sure you can get your flairs back on... all you have to do is drill holes just like the ones that are already thier. make sure you get the holes where thier suppose to bee.. it'd be better to get rusty's flares.. but they are kinda expensive

Yeah the price thing sort of keeps me from getting ANY aftermarket flares. I like the Rustys flairs, though. I will give it a shot tomorrow and see what happens. If anyone else wants to chime in, please do....
