thanx:thumbsup:

okcjeeper 08-12-2008 04:19 PM

Dont buy them...if you notice no center bracing there for they will bend way to easily...There are plenty of better quality shackles available.. By the way those shackles look like the crappy skyjacker shackles..

Those look like skyjacker shackles. For the price, it seems good. I prefer shackles with a plate welded on the backside for more support.

I just bidded on them.........so it's you and me

just kidding :)

What kind of wheeling do you do? Serious or mild? They will work, yes, but if you do some heavy duty shi$ out on the trails, like flexing with three tires in the air, or climbing 8 foot boulders, stay away from these. If you do mostly daily driving and some mud puddles and minor trail rides, they will work fine. You can always have someone weld a plate on the back.

Also you can get a complete kit for less then $100 that's a good rear shackle or full length AAL and front spacer..

:thumbsup: That's what alot of cherokee owners go with. Good shackle, cheap price, easy lift. You can get the 2" budget boost from teraflex for just a little more cash:

I do DD and a lil on the beach but no big flexing stuff

okcjeeper 08-12-2008 04:32 PM

I didn't think what mud had said you could get em and have a local metal shop weld a small backing brace on them...like mud said as a DD should work...I am referring to the first ones you listed..

You have to measure the width of your leaf springs and length of your stock shackles in order to know if these will fit. I can't remember but aren't cherokee springs 2.5" wide? I could be wrong.......
