Default fan hit radiator

fan hit radiator
any one else have this problem
on a steep hill with lots of flex

I think the fan hit the bottom of the shroud and bent a fan blade
and then the blade clipped the radiator
the bottom of the shroud is missing

beer gatoraid and cooler water got us out

Wow, Mike nothing like that has ever happened in my 91 and I even have a 3 core radiator....You know, I think this is one reason why having a TC drop kit is a good idea. I honestly believe that is part of what is keeping my fan out of the thicker radiator.....and it keeps my rear DS vibes away.

got the new radiator in
I left the mechanical fan off and just left the electric in until I can hit the junk yard for another electric
but for now it is running cool without the mechanical
on city driving it creeps up to 210 some times but as soon as the electric kicks in it goes down to 190

180 on the freeway but its only 80 today
