Fan Clutch Question
 
I'm pretty sure the fan clutch needs to be replaced on my truck. Is the correct procedure for checking it? Is it cool engine no resistance , warm engine some resistance? Right now my fan has resistance when cool but I can turn it, but it won't spin freely if I push it. Thanks

there should be some resistance to it all the time but when hot it should be very hard to turn if not replace it :thumbsup:

dont forget side to side play.......FYI my clutch fan will spin 1 blade when it is warm...and maybe 2-3 blades when cold. yours should be simular.
