Does my 99 jeep cherokee classic have a fan clutch?

No clue that's y is asked. Been looking to find one and the ones I found only ran thru 1994

Don't go with fan clutches from autozone. I found this out the hard way. I used to have a fan clutch from a grand cherokee that cooled better but it was way too loud. Went to autozone to get the correct one for a cherokee and they somehow gave me the grand cherokee one. Same as what I had before and didnt want. The girl at the counter said its the only one in the system.

She was right but the system was wrong. I looked online and put in different year cherokees with the 4.0L into the search bar. It seems that for 1995 or 1994 and lower they have the correct fan clutch listed. Any year above that and they have the larger grand cherokee clutch listed as the right part number.

I went back and ordered one for a '92 Cherokee and it fit my 2000 fine. Most of them are the same and will work. I'd suggest just going to NAPA or advance auto, maybe their systems arent as messed up.
