Engines start but wont rev up
 

I just replaced my engine in my 87 cherokee. its the straight 6. I got it to start and everything but when i push on the throttle nothing happens. does any one have ideas. idk what to do. im only 18 so im not the smartest one jeeps yet but i know my fair share. if you know what is wrong. call me please 480-861-2705 im verizon so if you have it its free long distance and what now. i only have about 4 hours to try and fix it.

heres everything i've done:

-change spark plugs
-checked fuel pump(its good)
-changed fuel filter
-changed computers for my new engine(it was a three year difference)
-timing is on

Throttle cable.

when i push my foot on the gas it moves it

What moves. Check the throttle cable at the throttle body, check the TPS.

even when i push it down with my hand it still doesnt accelerate. but ill go check those real fast

how do you check the tps?? certain voltage:stupid:

Even if you push the thing down in front of the throttle body it won't rev up?

no it still ownt. does anyone know what TPS should have for voltage wise?
