Engine Tap.?

Engine Tap.?
ok, for the past few days ive been noticing a slight tap in my engine. im at 112,000 miles roughly. when i got last year with 98,000 miles ive been on top of every oil change. im not sure were the tap is coming from but i can guess its coming from the valves hitting the valve cover? is there anything i can do to make it go away? or is it something i shouldnt worry about? thanks guys.

they better not be hitting the valve cover.If they are you have a real problem.It might be an exhaust leak or just normal valve train noise.

no way your valves are hitting the cover. the motor would have went off like a grenade haha. its probbly just a lifter ticking. try swapping a quart of oil every change with a quart of marvel mystery oil. its actually cheaper then a quart of oil
