That happened to my 99 right after I bought it. I know you will have to swap the Flywheel/Flexplate to your 99, and your accessory drive. Im sure someone will chime in, and correct me if Im wrong, but you may need to use the 89 head as the int/exhaust manifolds wont line up correctly on the 99 head.
