Needing help figuring out what could cause this. When I start her up, there's a loud clunk and a shake. Also does it when shutting her off too. Checked mounts, all are good. What could fix this? I'm at a loss. Could it be a bad torque converter? Flywheel? Any help will be great!!!!

 

When was the last time a full tune up was done?

Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, air cleaner, oil change, coolant flush, etc?

 

I used to get a clunk/shake from my exhaust hitting the mount at the crossmember (all my mounts were rusted away) on start up or turning off.

Full tune up was done about 2000 miles ago when I clicked over 200K.

 

Mine used to do that awhile ago. If I remember right, I think it was exhaust leaks and loose hangers, but might have been the spark plugs.
