I once found a post where someone moved a sensor from the intake, and moved it to the intake tube. Apparently it is to read the cold air coming in and not the hot air in the intake. I can no longer find this thread. Does anyone know what i am talking about and which sensor i am talking about.
your IAT (intake air temperature) sensor. tell the computer the air temp, which in turn tells the computer the air density. if its in the tube, it will be cooler, therefore telling the computer that the air is more dense, and more fuelling is added. honestly, you wont notice a difference. you might get a 1/4 of a pony by doing that.

IAT relocation works best during late Spring and Summer.
Any cooler and you will be defeating the purpose of the relocation.
The thread still exists:

Possibly the best thing you can do it to take the IAT out and give it a good cleaning. First with Brake Cleaner then with Electrical Contact Cleaner.
It gets caked with oil from the CCV.
