Default Engine cuts out

Hey guys I have a 92 XJ/ 4.0ho/ auto/ 4x4/ 302k miles. Wen its running it runs like a champ but ive been having this problem with the engine turning off while im driving. It does it at all speeds/ rpm/ temp and its intermittent or sparatic. One day ill drive to jacksonville from tampa with no problems and the next day it wont go 50ft without dying. Sometimes it will die out and comeback on by itself sometimes i have to throw it in neutral and restart it. Normally it will fire right up but a few times it has taken awhile. Ive repleaced the cap, rotor, wires and coil, im thinking it may be pointing towards the CPS. Any insight would be great......thanks
